EUSport Syllabi/Programmes

The EUSport module will contribute to the reflections on the future European perspective of Ukraine by promoting excellence in teaching and research in the field of the EU studies, sport, and physical activity. Moreover, the module is focused on the EU Sport Policy and promoting European values and integrity in sport.

The module each year will contain 3 teaching courses, 1 summer schools, 2 intensive training courses, conference and roundtable debate that are related to the EU studies, the EU policy and integrity, European values of sport, socio-economic and environmental dimensions of sport, promotion of participation in sport and health-enhancing activity.

Each module activity focuses on specific topics and target groups:

1) Teaching course on the EU Sport policy for BA not related to EU studies students of the Institute of Physical education, Sport and Physical Activity of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University,

2) Teaching course on the EU Sport policy for MA not related to EU studies students of the Institute of Physical education, Sport and Physical Activity of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University,

3) Teaching course on the EU Sport policy for PhD not related to EU studies students of the Institute of Physical education, Sport and Physical Activity of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University,

4) Summer school the EU Sport policy for related and not related to EU studies BA, MA and PhD students from different HEIs of Ukraine,

5) Intensive training course on the EU Sport policy for sport professionals, athletes, and coaches,

6) Intensive training course on the EU Sport policy for high school teachers in sport and physical activities,

7) Roundtable debate “The EU Sport Policy and Integrity” aiming to discuss with the broad public (all levels students, teachers, professionals, volunteers in the field of sport, athletes and coaches, local policy-makers) how the EU policies impact sports integrity?

8) Conference “The EU Sport Policy and Integrity” aiming to discuss main following points: the framework of the EU policy and its integration in Ukraine within the present-day context and recovery process; should we keep politics out of Sports?
