Cooperation among multiple institutions enables achievements that would be unattainable through individual efforts. In the medical field, integrating education, research, and clinical practice is crucial. The HEALTH BRIDGES project, led by two Polish and three Ukrainian partners—including three universities and two hospitals—aims to enhance healthcare quality and bridge disparities in access to advanced diagnostics and treatment. This initiative will establish a cross-border collaboration platform, HEALTH BRIDGES, allowing Polish and Ukrainian medical professionals to connect through digital tools for training, consultations, and real-time case analysis.

To further improve healthcare services, the project will support the purchase of medical equipment and upgrade facilities at the University Clinical Hospital No. 1 in Lublin, particularly in the Department and Clinic of Dermatology, Venereology, and Pediatric Dermatology. Additionally, a Center for Diagnosis and Treatment of Skin Cancer Diseases will be established. Another key focus is enhancing the expertise of academics and medical staff in dermato-oncology, dermatology, surgery, ophthalmology, and anesthesiology. The project is expected to strengthen healthcare quality, expand university training programs, and promote the use of telemedicine, increasing the number of professionals and patients benefiting from digital healthcare solutions.
