What is it like to be a LUVNU student?
Your time at LUVNU is not just about studying, there are plenty of ways to get involved in extracurricular activities. From joining the Student University Counсil, starting your own society, volunteering for a local charity, or attending a public lecture by a world-leading figure, there is much to choose from.
LUVNU Student self-government
Student University Council is the highest representative body of student self-government at the University. It’s an independent unity for LUVNU students. Student University Council offers many opportunities to get involved in student life: organization of festive events, business meetings, intellectual games, sports competitions, leisure for students, etc.
Career Center
Career Center – the formation of students’ skills in career planning and active job search. The team is created by qualified trade consultants, trainers and psychologists. Volunteers are involved in the work. The Career Center offers students: effective job search; interviews with the employer; place a resume on the website of the Career Center and get access to the educational and information resources of the organizations; receive additional education at seminars and certificate training courses, etc.
The initiative “Visiting Professor”/ Public lectures
“Visiting Professor” is the new initiative of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University that was introduced in 2021. LUVNU hosts the world’s speakers as they give exclusive talks on their ideas and experiences. The lectures are free to attend.
Sports
Gym, exercise studio, training grounds and classes.
Double Degree Diploma Programs
LUVNU has more than 15 double-degree diploma programs with partner universities from Poland and Lithuania.
Volunteering
Volunteering at LUVNV is an association of higher education applicants studying at the university and consisting of students, postgraduates and doctoral students who have common interests in the implementation of goals and objectives.
World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development
International students of the University from Congo, India, Ghana, Senegal, and Nigeria represent the culture and traditions of their countries; present photo and video materials of national symbols and sights; share their experience of staying in Ukraine, in particular in Lutsk; communicate with Ukrainian students about intercultural understanding.
