Project Approval Code: 101132954
Project Aim: The DRONE project aims to empower schools holistically by addressing key stakeholders such as students, teachers, principals, parents, and guardians. The project aims to achieve the following:
– develop the digital citizenship of these stakeholders;
– reduce the impact of misinformation;
– empower schools to prevent and manage crises within themselves.
This initiative targets the broader digital environment of misinformation and the exponential growth of social media and artificial intelligence applications. The empowerment will result from identifying the needs of these stakeholders, leading to the production of targeted educational material and large-scale training (modern and asynchronous) for teachers, school principals, and head teachers.
Project Summary: The DRONE project is part of the European actions to develop and evaluate innovative and targeted policies to improve school and education systems. It aims to empower educators, students, parents, and policymakers across Europe with digital literacy skills to tackle disinformation and navigate the online world critically. The project offers training, resources, and a network to create a more informed future.
